Jon Vesper, PGA
Director of Golf
Jon has been the Director of Golf at the Westin Mission Hills since August of 2007. Before moving to Southern California, he had leadership positions at three other Troon Golf Facilities including the Westin La Paloma, Fox Acres Country Club, and Corte Bella Golf Club. While working in Tuscon in 1999, Jon was honored as the Horton Smith Award winner for the Southwest Section of the PGA. Currently, he is serving on the Board of Directors for the Southern California Desert Chapter PGA.
Jeff Beier, PGA
Head Golf Professional
After graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing and receiving his PGA Class A Membership in 2007, Jeff became a member of the Troon Golf Family as an associate of the Poston Butte Golf Club in Florence, AZ. In 2008, he moved to Mullen, Nebraska to become the Head Golf Professional at Dismal River Golf Club. In January of 2011, Jeff joined the golf team at the Westin Mission Hills.
Greta Hofius
Director of Golf Services
Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Greta is the longest tenured golf employee at the Westin Mission Hills. She has served as the Director of Golf Services since October, 1993. Greta received Troon's highest honor as the Troon Associate of the Year in 2004. Most recently, in 2011, Greta was the Associate of the Quarter for the entire resort property at the Westin Mission Hills.
Jackie Woodard
Merchandise Manager
Before rising through the ranks of Troon Golf, Jackie originally started as a shop assistant in 2004. She moved to the Westin Mission Hills in 2007 to become the Merchandiser's Assistant, and in 2009 was promoted to Merchandise Manager.
Nick Altman
First Assistant Golf Professional - Pete Dye Resort Course
Nick has been an associate with Troon Golf and the Westin Mission Hills since March of 2008. He has also spent a season as the Assistant Golf Professional at the Rollingstone Ranch Golf Club in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Nick is currently working towards Class A membership of the Professional Golfers Association of America. He has a Bachelor's degree in English from Boston College and is a certified Callaway Clubfitter.
Paul Cox
First Assistant Golf Professional - Gary Player Signature Course
Working in the Golf Industry for over five years, Paul started at the Westin Mission Hills in August of 2008. He is striving for his Class A membership in Professional Golfers Association of America, and is a certified clubfitter for Callaway. Before starting in the golf industry Paul played Division One Hockey at Denver University.
